​Hello, I’m Dr. Paul Sandvick. If you're a patient of mine already, you know I'd ask you to call me Paul. I am originally from Superior, WI. After completing my undergraduate work at UW-Superior, I moved to Milwaukee and attended dental school at Marquette University, graduating in 1981. Although Superior will always be home, I have practiced in the North Shore of Milwaukee for 40+ years and it's truly become my "other" home. I am a member of many professional organizations and have taught at Marquette University Dental School for several years. I truly love what I do.

What I am most proud of is my beautiful family. My children, Carolyn and Peter, both graduates of Whitefish Bay High School and UW-Madison. Carolyn and her husband Matt live in Mequon with their sweet and spunky daughter Harper. She has the best laugh! Peter and Sarah are newlyweds and just moved into their first house in WFB. Lots of excitement! I cannot think of a better reason to get out of bed every morning than these guys. They mean the world to me!

 

Our family also includes a very furry, lovable pup - a Goldendoodle labradoodle mix named Zoe. If I'm not at work or playing basketball with my friends on the weekends, you'll most likely find me washing cars at the house with Zoe or playing hide-and-seek with my granddaughter.

I started working with Dr. Sandvick in 2017 and have enjoyed working together with all of our staff to deliver quality dentistry for our patients. Paul has been my mentor in dentistry and in life and I follow a similar conservative philosophy with strong roots in prevention and preservation of teeth. Dentistry is a rapidly evolving field, and I strive to incorporate the latest tools and knowledge, while staying true to this long standing philosophy.

 

For those of you who don’t know me, I am originally from the distant southern state of Iowa but moved to Milwaukee for my undergraduate education at Marquette University. I stayed at Marquette for dental school and have been living on the East Side of Milwaukee ever since. I love living in Milwaukee and experiencing this city’s unique and fun-loving culture.

In my spare time I enjoy movies and books, spending time with loved ones, walking and hiking, and traveling (when my schedule can handle it!).

I developed an interest in dentistry at the young age of five. Identifying a fascination for teeth and passion for helping others helped me set out on a journey to become a dentist.  After receiving degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado, I moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery.

 

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a dentist is the relationship I build with each patient. My strong desire to listen to each patient and earn and keep their trust is a top priority. I take the time to explain treatment options and procedures, answer all questions, and alleviate concern. Patient comfort and patient satisfaction are important aspects of my daily practice of dentistry while providing patients with the highest level of clinical excellence.

​

I frequently attend continuing education courses and dental meetings at the state and local level in order to stay current with the ever changing dental techniques and topics. This allows me to continually focus on providing the most current treatment options and techniques when seeing patients for routine comprehensive care and cosmetic dentistry.

​

Aside from dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. Hiking, biking, skiing, attending summer festivals, Marquette Basketball games, and trying new restaurants are some of my favorite things!

Dr. Eslami is a practicing dental implant specialist in Milwaukee with extensive specialty training in the latest and greatest implant techniques and technology. He served 10 years as the Director of Clinical Periodontics at The Periodontal Surgery Clinic at Marquette University. In 1988 he received his tenure in the Department of Periodontics.

​

Dr. Eslami has extensive advanced training and experience in multiple implant systems, computer-guided implant surgery, bone augmentation, sinus lifts, Cone Beam 3D imaging, Intraoral Scan and PRF technology. Dr. Eslami received hands on training from the creator of the revolutionary “All-on-4” implantation method at his clinic in Portugal. He was also the first periodontist to LANAP™ to Southeastern Wisconsin in 2003 and has since treated countless patients with this technique. At the request of his referring dentists, who were missing his periodontal services (LANAP), he began sharing his technique, “Simplified Flap Procedure”, which he had developed years earlier.

 

In 2018, Dr. Ahmad Eslami limited his practice to dental implants, which he has performed over 10,000 of these procedures throughout his distinguished career. He is a member of many organizations and has received many awards in the US and abroad, including the Wisconsin Dental Association’s Pyramid of Pride award for “Mentor of the Year.”

Dr. Lubar is a compassionate general dentist who combines clinical excellence with a patient-focused approach to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Dr. Lubar loves getting to know her patients and believes that the best oral health outcomes stem from meaningful relationships and informative, collaborative care.  Her conservative philosophy and a passion for patient education make Dr. Lubar a wonderful fit for Sandvick & Associates.

Dr. Lubar provides general dentistry for patients of all ages, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. Her clinical experience includes veneers, fixed partial bridges, restorative care, periodontal treatment, extractions, and much more. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Marquette University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, gaining experience caring for medically compromised patients and those with special healthcare needs.

With deep roots in the North Shore, Dr. Lubar is excited to care for patients close to home and become part of their dental journey. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, working on puzzles, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams. She especially loves spending time with her family and friends!

I graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1985 and then completed a general practice residency at the University of Maryland Dental School and Hospital

​

I have worked to hone my skills to provide restorative and implant dentistry to my patients over a 30+ year career. Along the way, I have accumulated many hours of continuing education in my top field of interest - implant dentistry. In addition to private practice, I have volunteered my services for the past 20 years at the Madre Angela and Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinics on Milwaukee's south side.

 

My wife, Gina, is a teacher at St. Robert School in Shorewood. We have four boys - all grown! When not in the office, I will either be reading a book, a newspaper or just about anything. And when I'm not reading, I love to ride my bicycle or play hoops with my buddies two nights per week - achy, arthritic knees aside!

If you're out and about on a Friday evening, you might spot my wife and I at our favorite dining spot in Wauwatosa - Hector's Mexican Restaurant.
