Hello, I’m Dr. Paul Sandvick. If you're a patient of mine already, you know I'd ask you to call me Paul. I am originally from Superior, WI. After completing my undergraduate work at UW-Superior, I moved to Milwaukee when attending dental school at Marquette University, graduating in 1981. Although Superior will always be home, I have practiced in the North Shore of Milwaukee for 40+ years and it's truly become my "other" home. I am a member of many professional organizations and have taught at Marquette University Dental School for several years. I truly love what I do.
What I am most proud of is my beautiful family. My children, Carolyn and Peter, both graduates of Whitefish Bay High School and UW-Madison. Carolyn and her husband Matt live in Mequon with their sweet and spunky daughter Harper. She has the best laugh! Peter and Sarah are newlyweds and just moved into their first house in WFB. Lots of excitement! I cannot think of a better reason to get out of bed every morning than these guys. They mean the world to me!
Our family also includes a very furry, lovable pup - a Goldendoodle labradoodle mix named Zoe. If I'm not at work or playing basketball with my friends on the weekends, you'll most likely find me washing cars at the house with Zoe or playing hide-and-seek with my granddaughter.

I started working with Dr. Sandvick in 2017 and have enjoyed working together with all of our staff to deliver quality dentistry for our patients. Paul has been my mentor in dentistry and in life and I follow a similar conservative philosophy with strong roots in prevention and preservation of teeth. Dentistry is a rapidly evolving field, and I strive to incorporate the latest tools and knowledge, while staying true to this long standing philosophy.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am originally from the distant southern state of Iowa but moved to Milwaukee for my undergraduate education at Marquette University. I stayed at Marquette for dental school and have been living on the East Side of Milwaukee ever since. I love living in Milwaukee and experiencing this city’s unique and fun-loving culture.
In my spare time I enjoy movies and books, spending time with loved ones, walking and hiking, and traveling (when my schedule can handle it!).
If you ever want to know anything else about me, just ask when I see you in the chair!

I developed an interest for dentistry at the young age of five. Identifying a fascination for teeth and passion for helping others helped me set out on a journey to become a dentist. After receiving degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado, I moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a dentist is the relationship I build with each patient. My strong desire to listen to each patient and earn and keep their trust is a top priority. I take the time to explain treatment options and procedures, answer all questions, and alleviate concern. Patient comfort and patient satisfaction are important aspects of my daily practice of dentistry while providing patients with the highest level of clinical excellence.
I frequently attend continuing education courses and dental meetings at the state and local level in order to stay current with the ever changing dental techniques and topics. This allows me to continually focus on providing the most current treatment options and techniques when seeing patients for routine comprehensive care and cosmetic dentistry.
Aside from dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. Hiking, biking, skiing, attending summer festivals, Marquette Basketball games, and trying new restaurants are some of my favorite things!

The son of immigrant parents, I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, I accepted an appointment to the Mount Sinai post graduate general residency program here in Milwaukee. My intention was to complete the one year program and then return to Ohio, but at the conclusion of the program I was offered a teaching position at the Marquette University School of Dentistry and my roots took hold here in Milwaukee. Within a year I purchased a private dental practice in Whitefish Bay and ran that office for 40 years.
Rather than retire, I sold my practice to Sandvick & Associates, and joined the group practice to continue seeing my patients in this lovely new setting. I’ve known Dr. Sandvick since he was a dental student many years ago and we’ve remained close friends. I am delighted to be here and to give my patients a new home for their continued dental care going forward.
On a personal note, I have two grown children. My daughter works in the finance field in New York City and is married and has a young child. My son is a Captain in the Army, Ranger qualified, and has served at Arlington National Cemetery in the Honor Guard. He is presently posted with the 101st Airborne and plans to marry in late 2022. I enjoy sailing and golf and of course rooting on my football Buckeyes in the fall. O-H !!!

Dr. Collin Trainor is a graduate from Marquette University School of Dentistry. During his four
years at Marquette, his education and training circulated around all aspects of general dentistry
with a deeper emphasis on cosmetics. With the compassion that Dr. Collin expresses for his
patients, it was an easy transition for him to join our team.
Dr. Collin and his family grew up in Madison, however he is no stranger to the Milwaukee area,
having gone to dental school here. His drive is to create a comfortable environment where
patients do not feel judged, but heard! Dentistry is an intimate profession and can be intimidating at times. The highly supportive experience that Dr. Collin provides bestows confidence in dental communication as well as patients’ overall smile and dental health. If there is one thing you can expect to walk away with after your first visit with Dr. Collin, it’s a new friendship. His genuine character makes you feel as if you have known him for years. He is excited to serve the community and provide the best possible dental care to the Milwaukee area.
In his free time, Dr. Collin focuses on his physical health and broadening his education in the
field of dentistry. He strives to educate and provide his patients with the best dental care and
advice possible. He spends most of his free time working out, golfing, skiing and hunting. When
he has a little extra time on the calendar you can find him seeking a new adventure, somewhere
around the globe.
The entire staff at Dr. Sandvick's office is amazing. They are extremely accommodating and helpful, and always remember names and personal details. The whole office atmosphere is warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable.
